Above "B.V.B.-BIO" (8" wide by 12" tall): In 1979, at 18 years of age, Karch Kiraly earned his first open-beach volleyball title with Sinjin Smith (Santa Cruz Open). As a team, they entered 28 events together, advancing to the finals 23 times, winning 21 championships. Individually: Karch Kiraly is the most prolific winner in the history of beach volleyball. By the end of the 2007 beach volleyball tour, Karch Kiraly had entered 357 pro-beach volleyball tournaments, advanced to the finals 206 times, winning 148 championships. Sinjin Smith, the second most prolific winner on the beach, had entered 416 events, advancing to the finals 212 times, winning 139 championships.
